I've been having issues with my laptop
over my last two weeks. On top of my issues with my disease; well its
taken me a while to get back to you, Thomas, about some questions you
asked me, so here's what I could gather from running `gpodder --run
--verbose`. First off though, with gPodder 0.10.2 seems to have fixed
most of my podcast downloading problems. I had to nuke both .db files
but its working much better now. I do have issues with one feed, at
least, still. It seems to be only on this URL that this happens.
Usually its just
the error listed above. Any ways here are this feed's errors
details(from gpodder --run --verbose).

Now for every one looking for something
that syncs from the command line &running gpodder through cron,
&etc. I have a PHP progie I've written, &posted before. I'll
post that later today or tomorrow with my latest version.
Again I have plans on working with
gPodder, and *ick* python. Right now &for the foreseeable future I
have to many other projects taking president. Once I can though I'll
be contributing some patches I'll add to gPodder. Unless Miro ever
upgrades to using python 2.5, as if, LOL *wink*. Until I can work on
gPodder more directly. I'm just using my PHP progie. I'll post it
later tonight, or tomorrow. Sorry, busy day.
&BTW I know my PHP progies kinda a
hack, but it is easier to customize/modify/code than gpodder. Mostly
just cause its only PHP &CLI. But it does integrate fully with
gpodder. But its just kinda a hack so no complaining once I do get a
chance to post it.
Blessed be,
What it cannot take is my DREAMS!
Though spastic &twisted; I'll not give up! http://Dystonia-DREAMS.Org/

Hello, Katy! Katy G. B. wrote:Thomas, I'd be fine with the mp3 sync thing if it did two things. One it needs like a command line option for "syncing". And than right now it copies all podcasts. It would be very useful if there were an option to `move podcasts when syncing` ¬ just copy them. I have tons of podcasts and and often don't have enough hard drive space to two copies - even worse I don't have the time to manage two copies, except for having tcsh foreach &remove podcasts after syncing. But anyways just a wish list.I've added these things to the TODO list. You might also want to try out the "gdfs" progies from gPodder's source directory in doc/dev/gdfs/. You will find instructions in the README file in that directory.
