Hello Wilfred, Sorry, I didn't mean to offend with my python 2.5 recommendation, I was just surprised ;) For those "Xlib: unexpected async reply" crashes please try the patch attached to bug #150 that you mentioned and see if you get better results. That's most definitely a threading related issue which is what that patch intends to fix.
