Hello there!

After getting some feedback for Panucci[1], which will start as its own
sub-project of gPodder soon, I've tried to implement a small, resuming
audiobook and podcast player for mobile phones that support Java for my
Nokia phone to play long audio files and podcasts without having to
seek to the old position after stopping playback.

It can now successfully browse files and play them back, remembering
the position and seeking forward and backward in the stream.

Is anybody interested in such an additional program for mobile phones?
Are there even people out there that sync from gPodder to a mobile
phone and would find such a tool helpful?

Anyway, Panucci (the version for Maemo and Linux Desktops) is going to
get its own mailing list soon, and nikosapi and matt have already
touched the codebase and put some nice improvements into it.

Enjoy!
Thomas
