Hey there! Some bugfixes that I wanted to have released, because Jaunty users would not be able to use gPodder 0.15.x with their Python 2.6 installations due to changes in the handling of strings in PySQLite and because there have been some other small bug fixes recently.
Deb: http://khan.thpinfo.com/~thp/deb-outgoing/gpodder_0.15.1-1_all.deb Source: http://download.berlios.de/gpodder/gpodder-0.15.1.tar.gz The Maemo package version 0.15.0-4 has all relevant fixes of 0.15.1 already included, because bug 375 is only relevant to Python 2.6 (Maemo has 2.5) and MTP synchronization is not really possible on Maemo devices (the rest has been merged into gPodder 0.15.0-4 in Maemo Extras). Thanks to all who were involved! Thomas ----------------------- Annoucement: http://gpodder.org/news.html After the release of gPodder 0.15.0 exposed some problems with installations of Python 2.6 (for example, Ubuntu Jaunty, who did the transition recently), and some other bugs that cropped up and were quickly fixed, we present you here a fresh release, containing (as usual) only bugfixes: * Make default encoding utf8 on Maemo (nikosapi) * Fix "You must not use 8-bit bytestrings" (bug 375) * Fix a regression in the MTP synchronization code (Jérôme Chabod) * Added missing dependency on python-dbus for the Debian package Thanks to all bug reporters for helping us getting this release fixed quickly. You can grab the updated source tarball and Debian/Ubuntu packages from the downloads page. If you find additional bugs in this release, please don't hesistate to report them on our bug tracker. _______________________________________________ gpodder-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-devel
