Hello,
after trying to use gPodder on Maemo 5 in Italian, I have noticed that
the translation was incomplete and, quite often, wrong.
The attached git patch solves numerous problems. Here's the commit
log, if you want to read it without downloading the patch:

commit c502d2f4a2bb4e30285ac6e1f4470c1b69285bbb
Author: Salvatore Iovene <[email protected]>
Date: Sat Nov 14 16:51:47 2009 +0200

    Updated Italian translation.

    * I believe that something had gone really wrong at some point,
because lots of strings were totally wrong, i.e. things like "One
podcast downloaded" were translated to "No podcasts downloaded",
and some strings also seemed to refer to a completely different
    context somehow.

    * The word "Scaricamento" has been replaced the the more natural,
untranslated, "Download". It's commonly accepted to translate
Download as verb to "Scaricare", but not to translate it as a noun.

    * Some attention to detail was necessary: strings ending in periods,
colons, etc have been verified and changed where necessary. Also
better attention to capital letters has been paid.

Hope you'll find the patch useful.
