Yo All!

Bad news about u-blox and gpsd. gpsd used the UBX-CFG-MSG to enable
and disable the u-blox receiver from sending individual NMEA and UBX
message on the port in use. This is how gpsd, and ubxtool, configure
the messages in use.

UBX-CFG-MSG was deprecated in the Gen8 receivers. The message is
present, but undocumented, in the Gen 9 receivers. Now I discover
the message is gone in Gen10 reecivers.

This means that gpsd, and ubxtool, has no way to automatically configure
u-blox receivers of Gen10 and Gen20. Yes, u-blox jumped from 10 to 20.

The only way to configure a Gen10, or Gen 20, receiver is using the
configure item method. But all configure item methods require you to
specify the port to use. But there is no way for gpsd, or ubstool
to determine the port that they are conencted to.

So, going forward, if you the user want to change which messages are
send from your Gen10 reeciver, you must manually determine the port in use,
and then use configure items to get what you want.

Major PITA.

I have reported the issue to u-blox, but we all know how fast they
will (NOT) fix it.
