Here is the correct link to the evaluation board, and yes the evaluation board is USB ( there is a USB to UART converter on the board but the module is UART).

There is is only D+/D- on USB as far as I know so how would 1PPS get to the computer?
Do you mean the 1PPS is included in a NMEA message?
Or the messages are coming out once per second?
The 1PPS that I know of is a separate GPIO on the module that Pulses once per second.
Where do I look on GPSD to see if it's getting the 1PPS?
