We happen to be in a predicament where we have staff scattered across different facilities and different networks. We do not have DHCP services in any of these remote networks nor can we somehow provide them. What I have done is compiled gpxe with a script that statically assigns the IP info for a given network and this works. The problem is that this forces me to create and carry a separate USB key or CD configured for each network. That's rather cumbersome with the number of separate networks we have. So what I would like to do is have gpxe present an initial menu that allows the admin to select the appropriate IP settings for the network they happen to be on. Please note that this menu needs to be available before gpxe has any kind of network info. Is there a way to do this? I have seen that there are ways to have gpxe present a menu after obtaining IP info but that doesn't really help me.
