Good day Sonny, Most sincere apologies for the delayed response. :( :(
>From your detailed 'iscsibcg /ShowiBF' output (thanks!), it appears that your single iBFT includes details for both NICs. I do not believe that gPXE currently supports multiple NICs in the iBFT that it builds, but I do believe that it would be possible to code... What might be required is some discussion concerning how to modify the 'sanboot' command or the DHCP root-path settings passed by a DHCP service; what those might look like. In your Intel iSCSI ROM configuration setup, I believe that you set parameters manually and statically, versus using anything passed by DHCP, is that correct? I've also read sentiment once before in a gPXE or Etherboot mailing-list and once in another forum (the Boot-Land forum) regarding further control over the iBFT in order to support interesting SAN-boot scenarios... So you're not alone in this desire. I cannot honestly suggest that I can tackle this for you at this time, even though it seems like an interesting and useful feature. How about any other gPXE user/developer/network-booting-enthusiast-with-some-C out there? :) I have a bit of a ToDo at the moment, but this sure seems worth having! - Shao Miller _______________________________________________ gPXE mailing list [email protected] http://etherboot.org/mailman/listinfo/gpxe
