Question #110431 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/110431
Status: Open => Answered
chrismd proposed the following answer:
1) Yes, in $GRAPHITE_ROOT/conf/carbon.conf there is a MAX_CACHE_SIZE
setting.
2) Yes, Graphite is built on the Django web framework which can run on
any WSGI-capable web server. It's interaction with carbon is the same
regardless of which web server.
Also another thing I forgot to mention is that it is a very good idea to
use memcached with Graphite for performance. To do so, simply run a
memcached process on each of your graphite servers and define a list of
them in $GRAPHITE_ROOT/webapp/graphite/local_settings.py in the list
called MEMCACHE_HOSTS.
