Question #187264 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/187264

    Status: Open => Answered

Michael Leinartas proposed the following answer:
I think this could be implemented pretty easy with a function, though
I'm not quite sure how useful it'd actually be. With relative time
periods the current time is always the rightmost edge of the graph. With
a set time period (say, today midnight until tomorrow midnight) the
current time is where the drawn lines stop. In the latter case, sparsely
populated data could perhaps benefit..

If you do think this'd be useful despite the above, create a bug from
this question (there's a button to do so) and mark it as a feature
request. Also feel free to submit a patch (the existing timeFunction and
drawAsInfinite should get you started as far as examples).
