Mohan is still having a problem:
Ok. This is the section I just updated. I created db/nio.db. syncdb
doesn't succeed though.
DATABASES = {
'default': {
'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.sqllite3', # Add 'postgresql_psycopg2',
'postgresql', 'mysql', 'sqlite3' or 'oracle'.
'NAME': '/opt/graphite/storage/db/nio.db', # Or
path to database file if using sqlite3.
'USER': '', # Not used with sqlite3.
'PASSWORD': '', # Not used with sqlite3.
'HOST': '', # Set to empty string for localhost.
Not used with sqlite3.
'PORT': '', # Set to empty string for default. Not
used with sqlite3.
}

'user' that is trying 'syncdb' has read/write permission to this folder
'db'. Does it have anything to do with the user 'www-data'
