I tried it with a python script (attached below).
Same behavior, take 1 minute and then only 100~ metrics are added.
SCRIPT:
data=open(sys.argv[1]).read();
sock = socket()
try:
sock.connect( ('localhost',2003) )
except:
sys.exit(1)
print "sending message\n"
sock.sendall(data)
