I recently came up with Graphite and started using it. However, while I was trying to know its internal architecture of this wonderful tool, I ended up reading this. http://www.aosabook.org/en/graphite.html . This site shows that webapp doesn't read any data from carbon. i.e., there is no dependency of webapp on carbon. Then does it mean that Graphite is completely decoupled? So can I use a different version of webapp with different version of carbon? If there is any dependency between carbon and webapp, please do let me know about the same.
