We are setting up a new VM for Graphite and we have hit a very bizarre problem. We have a puppet manifest to install graphite-web-0.9.9, carbon-0.9.9, python-whisper_0.9.9 and other relevant depenencies. When run locally using Vagrant this works absolutely fine. When we run this on the same OS (Ubuntu 12.04) on the production VM, for some reason Graphite won't validate our storage-schemas.conf. When we run python bin/validate-storage-schemas.py, it lists each of our sections as having errors. The exact same conf file runs fine on the VM built by Vagrant. In fact, if we replace our storage-schema.conf with the example conf file, we still get validation errors on the production VM. I'm tearing my hair out on this one.
