Unfortunately, your question doesn't make much sense. The amount of
metrics per second a carbon instance can take depends on the hardware
it's running on - there is no simple answer.
If you search online for something like "scaling graphite" you will see
plenty of examples where people have setup Graphite across data centres,
with redundancy, etc. Again, there's no single answer to your question.
