Are you trying to install graphite from github? Latest versions require Django
1.4 and Ubuntu 12.04 doesn't have it - see
https://github.com/graphite-project/graphite-web/issues/650
Please install Django 1.4 (look e.g.
http://blog.sudobits.com/2012/03/24/django-1-4-for-ubuntu-11-10-12-04/) or
install graphite 0.9.12 from pip.
