Hamish, I tested your update to r.in.poly today and it solved the problem of making raster points from coordinates. Here is the input to make 3 points, using the same coordinates I used yesterday, the first of which is on a cell boundary intersection. I've attached a file of the output.
P 592250.0 4924400.0 = 40 household0 P 592362.0 4924531.0 = 41 household1 P 592142.0 4924277.0 = 43 household3 This time, it only makes single points no matter where the coordinates lie in relationship to the cell grid. Still can't change points by coordinates directly, but this is a big help for cellular autonoma and agent modeling. Thanks VERY much.
