you do to get this result ? The above error message ("Unable to
open...") seems to be related to displaying a map, whereas you say it is
linked to v.to.db ?
The screenshot is an error caused by v.in.db.
Could you send the content of the 'technical information' (link in the
error window) of the error reports ? I'm not sure I'll understand these
(MS does not have the reputation of creating useful error messages...),
but it's worth a try.
