Here are some comments from the GUI side, and some personal
observations. *indicates importance for GRASS 7.

d.zoom - Built into GUI canvases with more functionality
g.ask - Not sure what it does
g.setproj - Replicated in GUI using g.proj
i.ask - Not sure what it does
**i.class - This seems important. Not replicated in GUI.
**i.ortho.photo - Important. Not replicated in GUI
i.points - Replicated in GUI georectifier modules
i.vpoints - Replicated in GUI georectifier modules
r.digit - Unneeded? v.digit -> v.to.rast
*r.le.setup - I think needed to run r.le. How much is replicated by
r.li?
r.le.trace - Same
**r.support - Need some way to access raster metadata.
