I've just had a glance at that README, and it seems rather clear to me that the file would better be incorporated as Doxygen comments in the .py file. http://www.stack.nl/~dimitri/doxygen/docblocks.html#pythonblocks "Since python looks more like Java than like C or C++, you should set OPTMIZE_OUTPUT_JAVA to YES in the config file." ?
