is the idea to remind the user what they are using (instead
of bug reports just saying "I'm using GRASS 6"), or to
de-confuse those with multiple versions as the command set
might be a bit different? (I expect that has a developer bias, end users will
typically only run one version at a time)
I don't really object to anything less than ~15 char long,
I'm just trying to land on the most intuitive solution.
another idea:
GRASS 6.4>
(available command line options will not change much if at all
within maintainance releases, so why clutter things up listing
it?)
