I reopened these tickets. They are missing from binaries built from a fresh checkout of beta 4. Perhaps they are missing because of the broken compiling of the XML files. Are the menus being auto generated now? If so, this needs to be fixed or we’ll have more problems.

I've tried to organize he renames better, so hopefully it's an improvement. http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/wiki/Grass7/NewFeatures?action=diff&version=364 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/wiki/Grass7/NewFeatures?action=diff&version=363 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/wiki/Grass7/NewFeatures?action=diff&version=362 > > I just found > > that r.shade (new in GRASS 7) is not in the menu and r.relief (renamed) > > needs to be revised in the menu from its old name (r.shaded.relief). For the record: related invalid tickets #2527 and #2528. http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/2527 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/2528 > > I > > created tickets for both of these, but if there is a way to ID new or > > recently renamed modules, I can do a quick scan for others. I think that the compilation of XMLs or start of wxGUI gives a warning if module is not available but perhaps only when some WX_DEBUG is set. For the not included modules, you can write a script to iterate over all modules and grep XMLs for presence of the module name.
