Most of the d.* commands are supported (#2233) and 2D view can be
manipulated using commands in the Console tab which is good for advanced
users, saved commands and tutorials. User can also export the
G7:m.nviz.image command from GUI. However, it is not possible to feed the
m.nviz.image command back into GUI. Another reason for supporting the
command is that m.nviz.image command does not work on MS Windows for a
long time (#2114), caused crashes on Linux (#2379) and recently it stopped
 working on Linux too (comment:8:ticket:2114).

I'm not sure what is the right way to implement this. d.* commands behave
differently in the Console. But should also a selected m.* command?
Perhaps a button somewhere in NVIZ is more appropriate (like "copy" and
 "paste" m.nviz.image command).
