I don't really understand why, but the problem might be related with zsh
after all...
On zsh, which is what I mainly use, I get the problems I mentioned
earlier. On bash though, the button exits GRASS just fine. I tested this
both on the Ubuntu VM and on Archlinux.
Note: If you want to try this, you don't only need to start a zsh shell,
you also need to `export SHELL=/usr/bin/zsh` too.
