Hello Thomas, I gave you a wrong path. Try this one: ldd /home/teaiii/grass-7.8.5/dist.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/lib/libgrass_gproj.so
The problem still boils down to having different incompatible system libraries during compilation and runtime. You can also search for libproj.so files in /usr/lib(64) or just dpkg -l | grep proj and if you see multiple proj versions, remove one.
