recently I made necessary changes (see related PR [1]) in order to build a `grass` package on the top of OSGeo4W v2 including a standalone installer, which you can test [2]. I would suggest publishing RC3 after merging PR mentioned above. If there are no objections I will merge PR above and release RC3 in the next few days.
