Hi devs, Under certain circumstances (i.e., offline/sandbox compilation) the recent 8.0.0 release causes troubles (see https://github.com/OSGeo/grass/issues/2137). This has been addressed and fixed since then.
Two blockers are still open (the second we already bumped from 8.0.0 to 8.0.1, not sure if they are blockers at all): https://github.com/OSGeo/grass/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3Ablocker+milestone%3A8.0.1 Now, since backports to the future 8.0.2 are piling up (esp. the ctypes related fix: https://github.com/OSGeo/grass/pull/2079), I would suggest that we release 8.0.1 asap. Hence I may prepare 8.0.1RC1 in the next day(s). Any objections?
