Hi Alen and Hamish, It’s great to hear from both of you!
Alen, thanks for bringing this up! It would indeed be great to start spreading the new GRASS logo with stickers at the international FOSS4G :) There’s an item in the budget for that, so I believe the project can cover it this time: https://grasswiki.osgeo.org/wiki/GRASS_GIS_Budget_2025. Since the conference is getting close, perhaps you could go ahead with the order and then request reimbursement? @Vashek, what do you think? The funds are still available in OpenCollective. From our experience at the dev summit in May, I can recommend ordering from StickerMule: https://www.stickermule.com/products/die-cut-stickers (glossy paper IIRC, they looked much much better!). Stickers tend to disappear fast at conferences, so I’d suggest ordering at least 200-300. Also, don’t put all of them out at once on the first day :) @Vashek, do you have other suggestions regarding the order process? @Hamish, I’m not aware of any remaining t-shirts with the ASCII logo. In the last couple of years, either Martin or the NCSU folks have printed shirts locally with the GRASS GIS "grass" logo. If any are left, they’re probably still at NCSU. For the dev summit, Vashek ordered from Redbubble - they turned out well. It’s not a big income stream for the project, but still something :) Cheers!
