Hello all,

I have been trying to install the GIPE add-on to my version of 6.4 (running on
Ubuntu Hardy) for a while now without much success. Having pored over the
instructions and various user list messages I have checked out the add ons via
svn and edited the file install_yanns_grass.sh to reflect my grass lcoation

e.g.
GRASSSVNDIR=/usr/lib/grass64
ADDONSVNDIR=/usr/lib/grass64/grass-addons

However when I run the .sh in GRASS I get a stream of errors and warnings (to
big to copy in their entirity from terminal) which end with

" make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/grass64/imagery/i.wi'
make
/build/buildd/grass-6.4.0~rc6/dist.i486-pc-linux-gnu/docs/html/imageryintro.html
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/lib/grass64/imagery'
Makefile:9: ../../include/Make/Module.make: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `../../include/Make/Module.make'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/grass64/imagery'
make: *** [htmldir] Error 2
cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/lib/grass64/gui/tcltk/gis.m/': No such
file or directory
cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/lib/grass64/gui/wxpython/gui_modules/': No
such file or directory
cd: 75: can't cd to /usr/lib/grass64/gui
Makefile:9: ../../include/Make/Module.make: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `../../include/Make/Module.make'. Stop.
Makefile:9: *** missing separator.  Stop."

So it would appear that I have some directories missing? Has anyone else had a
similar issue using this script? I'd be so grateful if someone could point me
in the right direction please!

Many thanks for reading,
Rebecca

creating your own binary distribution is quite easy, see [1] and
sample script [2] used for daily builds [3].
