Bare with me. I guessed the issue was for the region was not defined with the 3d region. So I ran g.region and define the region in NS, EW, and Top and bottom. Now V.vol.rst is running....crushing numbers.

I rerun v.vol.rst and i have to define ‘cat’ as the name of col that contains the w-values attribute to interpolate. These match the attribute i want to interpolate from the db. Now the issue is the data is not in the region....zero points in the region.
