Hello,

I want to learn how to compile GRASS GIS 7.0 SVN on my Windows 7 platform.
Therefore I followed the instructions on
http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/wiki/CompileOnWindows
and did all the steps:
1) Installation of the OSGeo4W directory structure
2)Installation of the environment for compilation and unzipping and
copying MinGW packages to
mentioned destination folders
3) Downloaded, unzipped and copied the pre-build binaries (bison etc.)
to the destination folder
4) Downloaded and unzipped the GRASS 7.0 source code (weekly snapshot)
and copied to the usr/scr folder
5)Then I tried to compile. Therefore I typed as mentioned:
./mswindows/osgeo4w/package.sh

but got following problem!!:
sh: ./mswindows/osgeo4w/package.sh: No such file or directory

So what was wrong with my procedure? Is there anything missing? How can
I check if
all the downloads were correct?

My osgeo4W directory looks now like:

Directory of C:\OSGeo4W
03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> .

Hope somebody can help me, so that I can compile my own GRASS installations.
And maybe you can also help me how to install GRASS add ons in windows?
Probably they have to be compiled with the source...but how does that work?

Thank you very much

best regards
Johannes
