Problem with compilation of GRASS 7.0 SVN on Windows 7 (Johannes Radinger) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Mon, 03 Oct 2011 15:10:15 +0200 From: Johannes Radinger <jradin...@gmx.at> Subject: [GRASS-windows] Problem with compilation of GRASS 7.0 SVN on Windows 7 To: Grass Windows <grass-windows@lists.osgeo.org> Message-ID: <4e89b437.3010...@gmx.at> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; format=flowed Hello, I want to learn how to compile GRASS GIS 7.0 SVN on my Windows 7 platform. Therefore I followed the instructions on http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/wiki/CompileOnWindows and did all the steps: 1) Installation of the OSGeo4W directory structure 2)Installation of the environment for compilation and unzipping and copying MinGW packages to mentioned destination folders 3) Downloaded, unzipped and copied the pre-build binaries (bison etc.) to the destination folder 4) Downloaded and unzipped the GRASS 7.0 source code (weekly snapshot) and copied to the usr/scr folder 5)Then I tried to compile. Therefore I typed as mentioned: ./mswindows/osgeo4w/package.sh but got following problem!!: sh: ./mswindows/osgeo4w/package.sh: No such file or directory So what was wrong with my procedure? Is there anything missing? How can I check if all the downloads were correct? My osgeo4W directory looks now like: Directory of C:\OSGeo4W 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> . 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> .. 19.09.2011 20:20 <DIR> apps 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> bc-1.06-2-bin 19.09.2011 20:23 <DIR> bin 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> binutils-2.19.1-mingw32-bin 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> bison-2.1-bin 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> bison-2.1-dep 19.09.2011 20:19 <DIR> etc 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> flex-2.5.4a-1-bin 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> gcc-core-3.4.5-20060117-3 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> gcc-g++-3.4.5-20060117-3 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> gettext-0.14.4-bin 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> gettext-0.14.4-lib 19.09.2011 20:21 <DIR> include 19.09.2011 20:21 <DIR> lib 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> libiconv-1.9.2-1-lib 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> libintl-0.14.4-bin 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> libintl-0.14.4-lib 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> mingw-utils-0.3 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> mingw32-make-3.81-20080326-3 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> mingwrt-3.15.2-mingw32-dev 07.02.2011 17:25 5.341 MRSID_EULA.txt 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> msysCORE-1.0.11-bin 19.09.2011 20:23 151 OSGeo4W.bat 19.09.2011 20:23 4.286 OSGeo4W.ico 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> readline-5.0-1-bin 03.10.2011 14:09 <DIR> regex-2.7-bin(1) 19.09.2011 20:20 <DIR> share 19.09.2011 20:18 <DIR> tmp 19.09.2011 20:18 <DIR> usr 19.09.2011 20:18 <DIR> var 03.10.2011 14:03 <DIR> w32api-3.13-mingw32-dev 3 File(s) 9.778 bytes 30 Dir(s) 60.059.414.528 bytes free Hope somebody can help me, so that I can compile my own GRASS installations. And maybe you can also help me how to install GRASS add ons in windows? Probably they have to be compiled with the source...but how does that work?
