Ensure that %GISBASE\scripts isn't the current directory, as that is searched before %PATH%. -- Glynn Clements <gl...@gclements.plus.com> ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2011 14:26:41 -0700 (PDT) From: Helmut Kudrnovsky <hel...@web.de> Subject: [GRASS-windows] Re: r.basin for windows [was Re: WinGrass6.5.svn-installer with selected addons] To: grass-windows@lists.osgeo.org Message-ID: <1319491601644-6926610.p...@n2.nabble.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Glynn Clements: >Helmut Kudrnovsky wrote: > >> >Is %GISBASE%\scripts in the path? >> >> yes, it is set in C:\Program Files\GRASS 6.5.SVN\etc\env.bat: > >If you're going to rely upon batch files (which is necessary if you >want to invoke scripts other than via the program associated with the >file extension), the scripts directory should not be in the path. see http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/browser/grass/branches/develbranch_6/mswindows/env.bat >OTOH, %GISBASE%\bin comes before %GISBASE\scripts, so I don't know why >it's executing the script rather than the batch file. no idea either ... > Ensure that >%GISBASE\scripts isn't the current directory, as that is searched >before %PATH%. see http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110#comment:10 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110#comment:12 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110#comment:16 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110#comment:16 http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/ticket/1110#comment:17 IMHO we're reaching here the limits of the windows design and wingrass ?!?!?
