Hi David,

I have two more things that are the next step after creting the 3d
shape. I am mainly thinking about the construction process after we
come up with a complicated shape.

Is it possible to have a export component to export the GH shapes to a
file, like IGES, SAT, ... or dwg and a print component to print the
neccessary 2d plans into a pdf file.

Maybe it would be possible, not only to program the shape, but also
create the files for manufacturing. I guess this would also need a
"make 2d drawing" component.

The idea is, if we are creating a shape with 200 different shapes in
GH, I still need to do the manal labor to communicte those to the
manufacturing people. It would be great if we could export all those
different shapes into a folder, print the nessary plans for it into
250 pdf files and send an excel sheet with all the side data.

If you change things in GH everything will update in the folders.
(Even if it takes 2h for GH to calculate. For me it would take a few
days!)

I just think that GH is offering the way to do something like this.
The manufacturing side, at least in Architecture still relies on
plans, excel sheets, 2d and 3d files and it would be great to being
able to also automise these steps inside GH.

Just an Idea, thx oliver
