Apologies if this has already been discussed, I try to keep up with
the new posts as best I can.

When I bake a mesh from grasshopper that has vertex colors they
continue to show up in the shaded render.
Is there a simple way to extract this information and explode a mesh
with colors embedded in the fragments?

Or would it be easier to do this by rhinoscripting after the fact? I
have managed to extract the color information into an excel document
that I can implement if that is the case.

Vertex shading in general is relatively foreign to me, so if anyone
has any references or links that would educate me that would be
greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance
