Thank you for your replies. But I think I have to rephrase my question. In the first post I tried to cut a hole through a surface, that didn't work as expected. But by capping cylinders and tubes, creating solids, the Solid Difference worked perfectly. But if you start with an irregular surface, is it still possible to cut holes in it? Understood from another post that the Rhino command CreateSolid isn't implemented in GH yet. So if you start with an irregular surface there's no way to make it a solid.
