Hi, I think what you need is to have a VB node where you input the surface (not points), divide the surface inside the node and output rows of points that you can do whatever you need with them. The one limitation is that you'll have to have a fixed number of rows for the output (or change the code whenever you need different number). If this sounds like what you need, I'll be happy to write you a sample script.
