Hi ubarcstudent,

haven't heard this one before. If the *entire* computer is messed up
by this, it might very well be a problem with display drivers and
opengl. When you start Grasshopper, BEFORE you do anything else, go
into the View menu and disable the OpenGL Sprite option. Does that
make a difference?
