it seems that your curveA is not a curve at all, but a list of curves.
Did you check the [List] option on the curveA input parameter?

If you have multiple curves that you want to intersect, you'll need to
iterate through that list PRIOR to called the Intersection function:

For Each local_curve As OnCurve in curveA
   local_curve.IntersectCurve(curveB, xEvents, intersection_tolerance,
overlap_tolerance)
   ...

Curve|Curve intersection is already available in Grasshopper. Is the
existing component not suitable for your needs?
