Yes, I added a some extra classes to GH so now it is much easier to create components that have variable amounts of inputs/outputs. Once the new functions are all in place, it will be much easier for Rajaa to port certian PanelingTools functions to Grasshopper. She's been waiting for me to make the GH core more flexible. We'll see where it goes from here. Do note that there is no such thing yet as a generic-facade-paneling solver out there.
