Hi Andy, yeah, I changed this in 0.6. Many components in <=0.5 were outputting surfaces with kinks, which is a bad idea since there are many functions in Rhino that do not like those. I changed all these components to output breps if necessary (but single surfaces if possible) in an effort to reduce the number of SDK related crashes.
