how might one generate a surface from a point field where the points are not aligned to any sort of grid.
I have a series of points formed by intersecting lines with a simple surface (albeit curved 1d). what would be ideal is a method of extracting just the 'top' points of this field to generate an upper bounds curve along the surface. i had thought to generate a surface and extract the edge but i cant work out how to that either any ideas? thanks jonathon
