because using the slider menu means:
- doubleclick (open slider menu) (mouse action)
- set focus on value (mouse action)
- typ value (keyboard action)
- click ok (mouse action)
... instead of just using the slider as usual.

or am i missing a smarter way to do that (except from using tab to set
the focus to the next object...)?

the "output on mouseup only" could help speeding up the handling of
value that require a lot of recomputing time.
