hi, I am having a huge problem. I am trying to convert numbers (text containing the z value of point) around 12 000 in my rhino drawing into 3D points. The XY value of the point is the XY of the text entity is, the Z value is the text (number) itself.
I don't think it would be a great problem to do that in grasshopper, but i did not manage to reference text into grasshopper. I found exactly what I needed, but unfortunately it is only in C++ and I did not manage to load that script, because i do not have visual studio. http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.aspx/McNeel/SdkPointsFromText.html any help would be great because it would take me probably at least 120 000 seconds to do this task by hand. It is driving me crazy :-) I have already spend a whole day to find a solution. Any suggestions? Thank you so much, sebastian
