i'm having difficulty with the sweep two rails component in grasshopper. i am essentially trying to use two circles as rails, while sweeping a profile curve around them. all three elements are generated in grasshopper. most of the time it has been working, but sometimes it gives the error "73 iterations were required to find the section/rail cp param" although i believe it is not always 73. in this case, no sweep is drawn.
the specific example i am working on at the moment is a horizontal circle and another circle rotated about 45 degrees off of the horizontal. a simple line connects them at their closest points, and i am trying to use the circles as rails, the line as the profile curve. if i bake all three curves and sweep them in rhino, it works very quickly and easily. i'd like to understand why this isn't working, or at least tricks to avoid it. thanks, justin
