Most of the memory crashes aren't really memory related. If you bake a
subset of that list, say into 100 pipes, does it still fail?
Try baking it using several subsets instead of all at once. Maybe one
of the subsets fails because it has some weird geometry that generates
the error, you can then pinpoint out what is the geometry that's
causing the error by dividing the subset to smaller parts.
