Hello - total newb to Graylog - started yesterday and have a working 1.3.3 environ on Centros with logs coming in from Windows, Cisco and Linux plus basic alerts coming out via email Very impressed with the tool so far I do have a follow on requirement and hope the community can point me in the right direction As well as emailing alarms I would like to be able to launch scripts (shell / bash) so I can do a variety of things like feed into another system, send an SNMPTRAP using a bespoke MIB I've made for a variety of systems, run a test then send an email (so doing level 1 triage on an alarm so reduce mttr)
Is there an idiots guide to how I can do this or an already existing plugin I can modify? (I did find a rather old reference to an action plug in but this was for graylogs 0.10 ?!?)
