Workaround/Correction: Maps using results in the string data format continue to work, but only show message counts for the 'old' data - none of the new data is used for display.
If the time limit (or other parts of the query) excludes all the old format data, then the error occurs. The obvious workaround to have both maps and geo searches is to: 1) reverse the mapping for the geolocation fields to get map functionality working again in graylog ui; and 2) duplicate the data with a pipeline and store in a different field with the geo_point mapping applied. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Graylog Users" group.
