Yes I saw that, but couldn't figure out how to tack on to your thread
as I couldn't see a reply button. Also, my problem seems to be
slightly different, as mine won't open at all let alone not close.
And, I'm on OS 10.6.2. I haven't tried to open a new profile as I had
the impression that it was for diagnostics purposes to see if GM is
the problem, and I have established that IMO. I also can't include any
error console info, as FF only opens with GM disabled and so error
console can't find GM when I look for it.

Would really love some suggestions as I miss some scripts that used
GM.
