has anyone found a way to modify Disqus comments using GM ? i have a variety of GM scripts which run against certain blogs which allow users to filter specific users (persistent trolls) out of comment threads. it's pretty easy to do on most blogs because the comments are included in the HTML that GM sees - it's just a matter of finding them in the DOM, doing a little parsing, then replacing some HTML.
but, Disqus comments are more challenging. Disqus loads comments asynchronously, after the page loads, so GM never gets to see them. it can find the DIV container where the comments will eventually go, but it's empty when GM runs. any ideas? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "greasemonkey-users" group.
